- That is the initial or asking price of the first issue of stock. Which way it goes after that is anybody's guess. Google increased 10 times it's initial offering, but has dropped some inn this current economy.

- If this is a marketing task then I doubt the other answer about stocks is correct, but it depends on the context. The danger of using YA for help with assignments is you take words out of context and then get answers from people who know nothing about your assignment and not much more about marketing. The best person to ask is your teacher. I can tell you that offerings can simply mean products and services, but, dont trust this answer either - go ask your teacher
