What can you tell me about Syracuse University?

All information will be greatly appreciated. Also, how does it compare to Northwestern University? These are the colleges that I am looking at. I want to major in journalism. If this is any help... My GPA is 4.1 and I have great SAT scores, extracurriculars and volunteering hours. Also, I have taken a Syracuse University information session on campus.
